Silent Woman Entertainment

I saw this gross plaque today at the flea market. I doubt it's genuine, but a reproduction of real tavern signs in America in the 17th & early 18th centuries. I did a little google search and found another one of these signs with a photo of the description on the back.

I have one of these made out of iron or pot metal...also got it at a resale shop. Thought it was hilarious. How DARE we doubt the depths of mysogyny?

I'm currently drinking out of a glass with the same logo (only from 1761).

I have one of these dumb old looking signs [replicas]... also picked up at a resale shop (for entertainment purposes/ conversation piece) and its year is 1761.
